Well, now that things have hopefully simmered down a bit.

Was wondering if you were up for that car ride, doc.

I always like your attitude.

Got any rules for me to abide by?
fateality: (another shitty joke)

Oh, I'm in the usual spot. I'll be downstairs in the saloon.

I'm lookin' forward to it, doc.

How would you feel if we were able to have a particle-exact copy of our pseudo-agrecite sample to take back with us to Oska?

Purely for academic reasons, of course.
predomination: or i could stay here and think about science (⚛ i mean we could do that)

[personal profile] predomination 2016-12-05 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
There's a young girl [he thinks??] offering her skills. Apparently, she can create inorganic matter out of own lipids once she's analyzed the chemical make-up. I told her we've already done what we can for the Qorral's benefit- they'll have to manufacture their own with our sample and instructions as their guide.

Buuuut... I didn't think there was any harm in seeing if she can give us a sample we can keep.
predomination: that's something you should only share with that very special person you plan on murdering the fuck out of. (⚛ i never bankai on the first date)

[personal profile] predomination 2016-12-05 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
Oh I know. I'm basically suggesting she make it easy on us, so we can worry about other things.

She wants to be useful. We have other work to do. I figure it benefits all of us.
predomination: not gonna change my ways though. (⚛ YOU... have an excellent point.)

[personal profile] predomination 2016-12-05 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't call it that... [well... he's not wrong, though.]

I told her you'd give her the data, since this is primarily your project, so she'll probably be contacting you. I'm actually curious to see if this will even work.

Hello, Knock Out.

I am glad I am not the only one with concerns regarding the post Cassie had made.

You do not feel any unease over the idea of open hostility against a potentially developing species of robots? I know they are not like your kind. But they are closer to my own.

I would like to know what their states of mind are. Having intelligence does not mean having awareness. But regardless, they are a threat to innocent lives. Do not worry in that respect. I will not go easy on them.

...You would like to dissect one.

You know as well as I do that is not going to tell us of their cognitive state.
iomnic: (sst don't attack my salty robo ass)

None.

[That doesn't prove your point!!]

One's spirit is not found in their processor, Knock Out. You will find their life, and their memories, but not their soul.

If they are moving and thinking, they have life and memories. If they are able to understand their own existence, then they have a soul. My point is that you cannot find that information out by looking inside of their head.

[He doesn't particularly like this, but it's probably the best he's going to get.]

Agreed.
